What went wrong, why so many allergic dogs?
Though pets are closer to us than ever in human history, they increasingly face modern lifestyle harms.
Today, 1 in 5 dogs suffers from allergies. Acid reflux, tartar, bad breath, diabetes, liver/kidney/pancreatic issues, and cancer are rampant. It wasn’t always this way.
Despite our love—sometimes overindulgence—their average lifespan is declining.
Most dogs exercise too little, sheltered from wind/rain, weakening their immune systems. Their diets rarely resemble what’s natural for carnivores.
Even high-quality kibble, extruded at 180°C, is far from natural. Sugar, dyes, and flavor enhancers have no place in pet bowls.
Many owners switch to home-cooked or raw diets to combat these issues. Others find this daunting and opt for natural supplements or lifestyle tweaks. Every small step counts—we’re here to guide you.
Who are we?
I’m Andrea Böszörményi. With my husband Zsolt, our "dog chef" (star of our videos), we founded Wolfdining (Farkaskonyha), now our life’s passion.
We create daily content on canine health and appear in media features. Our social platforms offer regular educational resources.
In 2018, we hosted Hungary’s first Canine Health Festival.
Proudly, in 2019, we celebrated the "I Am a Dog Lover" spirit with 700+ pet owners in Kamara Forest. We can’t wait to reunite in September 2022.

Our roots
In the early 2000s, our dog Brenda’s allergies sparked my passion for pet nutrition. After self-study, I graduated as a pet nutritionist (BARF specialty) in Germany (2015).
I fell in love with the field, attending international trainings ever since.
With 20+ years of Labrador companionship, promoting dog sports and health awareness became our life’s work.
We compete internationally with our dogs, specializing in peak-performance nutrition. As international judges, we’ve worked in 15 countries, gaining insight into European pet-care challenges. Since 2011, I’ve served as vice-president of the FCI Retriever Committee.
