Calcium content varies significantly between bones - poultry bones contain less, mammalian bones more.
This makes specifying an exact "ideal" bone percentage impossible. For homemade BARF, 15-25% is a general guideline, adjustable based on bone type. (Small deviations of a few % are harmless, but long-term excess or deficiency isn't ideal.)
